One of them used a different font and another one had missing music. Even when you do successfully install it and play it with no virus, there is usually one thing changed. Just decline all those and you might get the game. The games i have downloaded successfully from those sites haven't took me through a survey, but on the installation, it asks if you want to download other stuff such as a browser search tool. Most of those surveys ask stuff like "How often do you shop from Amazon?" and "Have you ever been involved in an automobile accident?". If it takes you to a survey site that asks you questions and offering a free item (gift card, ipad, etc) if you answer them all, thats not gonna work. Usually, if it tells you to turn off your antivirus, don't turn it off, it most likely giving you a virus. There's some aspects of it that can help determine if it's a virus or not. You never know if the green button will get you a clean installation or a redirect virus. When you download a game off of those sites, it's like rolling a dice. I have a few full games on my computer that were successfully downloaded off of one of those sketchy websites, but i highly recommend paying for it because a few times i actually did get a virus. On your search through the internet jungle for free simcity, you might come across a sketchy site named something like or claiming they give away free full games that would normally cost money, but be VERY careful with that stuff. I don't know if there is SimCity, but there is definitely some other city-building games out there officially for free.
